Tomorrow is Wednesday. Summer School start day. Year 6. Oddly, I still have this overwhelming thankfulness that I have a job, which is the same feeling I had 6 years ago when I first started teaching Summer School.

I have taken a break from reading. I am doing massive amounts of Soduku. I need numbers for a bit.

I have a 12 foot by 3 feet pool that I love right now. It is large enough for a raft, and who needs more than that? I do now have new fears that the pool will collapse and flood the neighbors house which is down a hill.

I am reposting my sister's myspace page blog here because it is so funny. I think you should read it too!

So I've been here in Utah for a little over two weeks now and I'm not gonna lie I have seen some interesting things. Not saying that my sightings could not have happened else where, but its fun blaming the weirdness on the Mormons. Actually its fun just blaming everything on the Mormons. So today I saw a car pull out in front of me and the people starting punching each other in the car, no joke. The car started going all over the place and they eventually just pulled over and I guess continued to fight. Maybe they had a bad 'book of mormon study'. Yesterday I saw a young man riding his unicycle while walking his dog. I actually captured this feat on my cellular telephone and if you are lucky I will take the time out and put it on here. It was really something, the dog jumped up on the curb and I was going to stop to see what he was going to do next...well really I was just waiting for him to fall, but I drove on. Then then last night as I was leaving the hardware store some woman was just taking a nap in the grassy area by the parking lot. She was not homeless or anything like that, I guess she was just tired. It was about 7:00 pm, I was going to honk my horn when I drove by to make sure she was alive, but I'm new here and don't really want to step on anyones feet. There's probably more but I can't think of them right now...and that brings me to my next topic of conversation.

Why I may not be able to think.
So I have this old dresser that I brought down with me from St. Louis, I found a sticker in one of the drawers from the 70's....this thing is old. It was like an off white color, the same color as my walls so I decided to paint it this weekend. With some advise from my mother, I went to work. I set up shop in my kitchen and put about 3 or 4 coats of black paint over the white. I have no fans in the apartment, but I opened the windows. Needless to say, Sunday night I was feeling a bit loopy. I think Lacey can attest to this and Mollie this might be the reason for your "elongated post" that we so cleverly thought of. Anyway, the dresser looks great, almost brand new. So as I was cleaning up I lifted the sheet up and noticed that a lot of the black paint that was on the sheet had leaked through and essentially painted my kitchen floor. It was not so pretty. That leads me to tonight, I bought the "extreme goo gone" stuff that is supposed to get rid of everything. And it did. I give it all the credit in the world. But let me tell you something, this is some potent shit. And the paint was all over my floor, needless to say I think I used a lot of it, maybe a little too much as the smell is radiating throughout my apartment as we speak. I opened all the windows and I'm trying to not to breath. But I think I have lost a lot of brain cells between painting and the extra strength solvent I had to use to remove the not-wanted paint. And I apologize for anyone that has wasted time reading this. I may just go pass out now and hope that I wake in the morning. Anyway, life is great here in Utah. Miss you all, especially you. Oh here is the picture of the mormon boy and his unicycle.

the end.

I finished "The Girls". Very intriguing. I like your sister's post. Hilarious. Tell her if she wants some good people watching, she should come to Kokomo.
