It is only two minutes until 9 AM, but I feel so lazy! I have been up since 7:03, but have laid in bed the last two hours watching Veronica Mars. The CW network posts the last 4 episodes on their website, so you can watch them completely legally. I have spent this weekend getting completely caught up on this season (some of the episodes may have been downloaded courtesy of the Bear). I love this silly show. It is my father's fault. He discovered this show Season 1 and got me hooked! I just couldn't find the time to watch it until I decided to pretty much spend the weekend in bed.
I have so much I want to get done today, but for some reason would rather not start quite yet on my extensive To-Do List. Although, in my head I just got really overwhelmed with everything I need to get done.
Theresa sent me the Regina Spektor CD, and I listened to it on the way to a friend's house. I love the song "Fidelity," and my sister likes the CD, so I knew I would love it. I wanted to love it, but it made me feel crazy! It made me feel absolutely insane (a very similar feeling to when I heard Manson's Beautiful People song the first time). I was about to drive off the road. I had to turn it off, and call Theresa (who I was sure had been kidnapped by aliens-- hence a moment of insantiy- when she didn't pick up her phone after the first ring). I told her I have to throw the CD out the window. She talked be down off a ledge. She laughed that the CD was all over the place and she believed me. Sometimes it is enough for a person to just recognize that you may be a little crazy for you to not feel as crazy anymore. I did not throw out the CD, but let me tell you, I can't listen to it at night in the car after a pre-margartitas nap.
Music is powerful. What songs or artists can change your mood?

"This is how it works
It feels a little worse
Than when we drove our hearse
Right through that screaming crowd
While laughing up a storm
Until we were just bone
Until it got so warm
That none of us could sleep
And all the styrofoam
Began to melt away
We tried to find some words
To aid in the decay
But none of them were home
Inside their catacomb
A million ancient bees
Began to sting our knees
While we were on our knees
Praying that disease
Would leave the ones we love
And never come again"
why on earth would this make you feel insane...haha. love you sister!
