I am giving myself two minutes before I have to hop (that's right, hop) into the shower to meet friends downtown. We have two friends running in the St. Patrick's's day race today, and we are going to cheer them on. Hooray! This sounds like fun!
I got my tax refund, and acted very adult with it. Target and Old Navy are paid off. And I bought a new dresser with a mirror on the top. I dresser that comes up to my ribcage and has a little door. Not a cool armoire door, just a little door instead of a drawer in the middle. It is a solid wood dresser. Isn't that so adultish? It drew me in with that little door. I have bought one piece of furniture the last three years with my tax refund. I think it is a fun tradition. I have a couch (which I also got a free entertainment cabinet after the couch I ordered couldn't come in for 7 months-- China ran out of fabric), an antiquey desk and now a dresser. Next year, a dining room table (maybe even chairs). I love furniture shopping.
